8 Puppies Stolen From House

Eight Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies were stolen from a house at Queens Park in Bedford.

The seven male and one female blue and white Staffordshire Bull Terriers were taken on June 24 from Ford End Road.

They will be approximately six weeks old now and because they are so young had not been microchipped.

DC Barry Kibble from Bedford CID is appealing for anyone who may have information. He said: "These puppies are very young and therefore small so could be concealed quite easily. They are thought to be valuable and I would like to speak to anyone who may have been offered them for sale.

"Their owner is not a professional breeder but a loving pet owner whose dog gave birth to these puppies. She is very emotionally attached to them and distraught at their disappearance. Anyone who can help is urged to come forward."
