Residents in one part of Bedfordshire might not get all the post they were hoping for after a Royal Mail van's been stolen.

Police say the van was taken Friday lunchtime (1th Oct) and although it was found shortly afterwards, a quantity of letters and mail has been taken.

We're told it was during the middle of rounds from Clophill heading towards Shefford.

A mobile phone has also gone missing from the van.

Police have told Heart they want to speak to a man described as white, around 30 years-old, 5'10" tall of average build and dark hair. He was also seen wearing a read and white t-shirt.
