Further Arrest In Demirsay Murder Case

Detectives from the Major Crime Unit have made another arrest in connection with the case of murdered Kempston grandfather Sharif Demirsay.

A 17 year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder from his home in Trinity Road, Queen’s Park, this morning and is being interviewed by detectives from the Major Crime Unit.
 
Three other men, aged 17,18,19 were arrested in July and are currently on police bail. Yesterday their bail was extended to October 9.
 
65 year old Sharif was stabbed to death in his own home at Vineyard Way, Kempston on May 14 by three men who knocked at his door. A £10,000 reward is still available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.
