The M1's reopened after a crash near Milton Keynes that saw part of the motorway completely closed for more than seven hours.

The crash involving three lorries happened on the southbound carriageway between Junction 14 for Milton Keynes and 13 for Bedford at 3.30am on Thursday 12 April 2012.

The closures were completely lifted just after 11am.

Bedfordshire Police say a man was seriously injured in the crash.
