Man Attacked By Gang In Town

Police in Bedford are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man in his forties was attacked in the town in the early hours of Sunday (July 10th).

It happened in Honey Hill Road just after midnight when a group of seven to eight men approached the man making his way home from a friend's house.

As they approached him the group did not speak to the victim and began to punch him in the face causing him bruises and cuts to his face.

The attackers are described as black and white men and aged between 25 to 30 years.
