Man Dies In Fatal Crash

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision which happened yesterday afternoon (Tuesday April 19th).

 2.18pm on the B660 Cleat Hill at its junction with Bedford Road, Bedford.

The collision, which happened at around 2.18pm on the B660 Cleat Hill at its junction with Bedford Road in Bedford, involved two vehicles, a Piaggio motorcycle and a VW transporter.

The driver of the motorcycle subsequently died, the driver of the VW transporter was not injured.

The officer in charge of the investigation into the circumstance surrounding the collision, PC Dave Clarke of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Collision Investigation Unit, is urging anyone who witnessed the collision and who has not yet contacted the police to do so.
