Mathew Williams

Where are you from? Llangennech, a village near Swansea in South Wales (the same place Huw Edwards comes from).

What were you doing before radio? Studying at Cardiff University

Best part of the job? Doing something different everyday

Moment you'd most like to forget? Interviewing Alun-Wyn Jones, a Welsh rugby player, and calling him Ian Evans, a different Welsh rugby player, all the way through the interview.

Three words that describe you: Easy-going, organised and Welsh

What advice would you give to anyone hoping to get started in journalism? Go to Cardiff Uni!  And get as much work experience as you can.

Dream interview? Lance Armstrong

If I wasn't a news reporter I'd be...I always fancied teaching, so maybe I’d be doing that.  I’d like to think I’d be a professional footballer though…
