Detectives in Shefford are appealing for witnesses after a 19 year old man was attacked with a glass whilst out on Friday night (7th January).

The victim was in the garden of The Cornerstones Public House on the High Street at around 11pm when there was suddenly a lot of noise and he was approached by a woman. She smashed a glass over the victim’s head causing him to fall to the floor before leaving the area.

He suffered deep cuts to his head and right ear and was taken to hospital for treatment.
