Arrest After Body Found in Berkshire

A 29-year-old man was being questioned on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body at a property in Berkshire.

Officers were called to an address in Moorbridge Road, Maidenhead, just after 7pm yesterday by paramedics who had been sent there.

They discovered a man, whose age has not been disclosed, and he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. Detectives from Thames Valley Police are treating the death as "unexplained''.

Details about any injuries the man may have suffered have not been revealed and formal identification has yet to take place, a police spokesman added.

Detective Superintendent Rob Mason said: "At this time the man's death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances around his death.

"As part of this investigation we arrested a 29-year-old man, who was at the address, on suspicion of murder and he is currently in police custody helping officers with our inquiries.''
