Level crossing crash

A hundred and twenty five passengers have escaped unhurt after a train hit a car on a Wokingham level crossing.

The driver of the car died at the scene, but everyone in the train's carriages got away uninjured.

The crash happened on Waterloo Road just after 11am on Saturday 6 March 2010.

Formal identification of the driver who died has yet to take place.  An investigation's been started by British Transport Police.
