A man's been robbed in broad daylight by a man who threatened him with a knife.

Police have given us this computer-generated photo of the man they're looking for after the attack in the Oakridge area of Basingstoke exactly two weeks ago.

At 9.10am, a 30-year-old man was walking through an alleyway running between two houses in Wateridge Road when he was approached by a man.

The robber demanded the man’s bags, but he initially refused to hand them over. The robber then threatened the man with a knife and the man gave him the bags, which contained a quantity of cash.

Detective Constable Rebecca Martinez, from Basingstoke CID, said:

"This was a frightening incident for the victim, and we would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit to contact us.”

Anyone with any information should contact Det Con Martinez at Basingstoke CID on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
