Prisoner on the run
A man - serving six and half years for burglary and assault in the Thames Valley - is on the run from prison.
William Joseph Howard from Reading, who's also known as William Owens, failed to return from day release at HMP Sudbury open jail in Derbyshire on Thursday 30 September 2010.
The 23 year old was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on 04 April 2008 for burglary offences and sentenced at Reading Crown Court on 11 April 2008 for assault. He was also sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on 17 April 2008 for assault and driving offences.
He is described as being white, 23 years old, 6 feet tall, with a medium build, light brown short hair and blue eyes.
His last known address is in Woodley, Reading, Berkshire.
