Tribute to Reading crash couple

The three children of the married couple who died after their car was hit by a car being chased by police in Reading, have paid tribute to their parents.

Annelise and Duncan Storrar were killed last Wednesday night, after a police chase along Tilehurst Road.

The 49 and 54 year olds leave behind three children: 23 year old David, Kathryn, aged 22 and Ross, who is 18 years old. They have released the following statement:

"Our parents were the most caring, likeable individuals, who touched many lives. They were always there for us, they always put our well-being over their own, and we feel privileged to have had the unconditional support of the two most important people in our lives.

“Nothing can replace the love they had for us. The only comforting thought that remains is that they are still together and will forever be in our hearts.”

A 31 year old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been detained under the Mental Health Act.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is also investigating.
