Have a Heart is Heart's own charity committed to making a difference to local disadvantaged children.

Working with national charity partners who deliver their work on a local level, we want to make a difference to the lives of children who are suffering illness, disability, poverty or social adversity.

Earlier this year the first Have a Heart Appeal supported the work of Starlight Children's Foundation .  Working together with our listeners, commercial clients and some of our celebrity friends, Heart raised over £300,000 to help Starlight provide new Have a Heart Starlight Fun Centres in hospices and hospitals, and to grant more magical Starlight wishes.

The Have a Heart Appeal will return in early 2011!

We also raise money through a series of fundraising challenges, runs and events.  This year the first Have a Heart overseas trek visited the Great Wall of China - with over 200 Heart listeners completing the challenge.  In 2011, over 100 Heart listeners will follow the Inca Trail Trek in Peru.

Heart listeners will be running for Have a Heart in this years Great North Run, Birmingham Half Marathon and Ipswich Half Marathon.  We'll be launching more running events that you can take part in for Have a Heart very soon.

And we'll have a number of specially selected exciting events taking place throughout the year that you'll find all of the information about right here.

We're currently searching for our new national charity partner who will benefit from our fundraising - and we'll be announcing who that will be in early Autumn. Watch this space!
