Bristol: Man Injured In Waterfront Attack

Police have issued CCTV images after a 25-year-old man was left with injuries to his face in Bristol.

He was with friends in the BSB bar on the Waterfront at around 12.30am on Sunday 28 December. 

The group became involved in a disagreement with a group of men resulting in the victim and his friends leaving the club and heading into Canons Road, behind Za Za Bazaar. 

The offenders then left the club and went into Canons Road where they assaulted the victim and one of his friends as they were speaking to a taxi driver. 

Investigating officer PC Richard Glanville said: ''We're issuing images of six males we'd like to speak to as part of our enquiries. 

''The victim was kicked in the face during this vicious assault, leaving him with injuries including a fractured eye socket. 

''If you know any of the people in the CCTV images or have any information about this incident, please call us.''
