Helping other women become mums

Some women here in the West are having to wait at least two years to get fertility treatment.

That comes despite a study which shows 71 percent of women would consider dontaing their eggs to help others have children.

The study was carried out by staff at Southmead hospital, who say while they are pleased women are considering it, in reality very few actually come forward.

The hospital has over 50 couples on their waiting list and only have around one call a week from women interested in donating.

You can find more information about egg donation by calling  0117 323 2007 or going to www.bristolivtreatment.co.uk
