Raising awareness of childhood strokes

How would you feel being told your child had suffered a stroke?

Most of us think it only happens as we get older, but for some parents it is a reality.

At the moment there are no official figures telling us how many children are affected and why, but a Bristol mum is trying to change that by campaigning to get a national register set up.

Soniya Munday's 11 year old son, Kray, had a stroke three years ago when he was 11, she has been fighting for support and help ever since:

Sonia has set up a website to offer support to others parents www.childstrokesupport.com and she is also looking to get a charity launched.
