Bath Half Marathon 2012

The Bath Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 11th March, is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK, raising over £1.4 million for charity last year alone.

It never fails to sell out and attracts runners from all over the UK and abroad, as well as a significant local contingent. 

All 15,000 available places for the Half Marathon have gone but there are still a number of ways you can take part in the event. Click HERE to find out how you can run for the Have a Heart Appeal and raise money for ChildLine.

Run for a Charity

Guide Dogs Guide Dogs for the Blind, Bath Half Marathon's lead charity, has a few Golden Bond places left and they need your support. Running for Guide Dogs you'll enjoy a full sensory experience complete with puppy face paint, music, sports massage, refreshments and a magical post race reception and of course meet some guide dog puppies!

Family Fun Run

Family fun run If you don’t fancy the full half marathon, then why not sign you and your family up for the Fun Run, held in support of the Royal National Lifeboats Institution. 

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea, providing a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coast of the UK, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales. 

Organisers are hoping to attract 1,000 entrants to the 2.5km Family Fun Run this year, which follows the same route as the main race, which starts and finishes under the gantry on Great Pulteney Street. Register here
