Relive the Bristol Slide
More than 100,000 people applied but only 360 were picked, including our very own Slide Correspondent.
Rachel Gumm won the chance to report for Heart on Friday's Heart Breakfast. She was the first person down the Bristol Slide; dressed us a duck Rachel slid down the the 90-metre long water slide on Park Street in style!
Thousands packed Park Street to enjoy the sunshine and watch 360 randomly picked people slip and slide down on grey lilos.
Live from the Slide
Our Slide Correspondent Rachel, from Kingswood, Bristol was equipped with an on-board microphone to capture the moment she went down the Bristol Slide.
Sliding in Slow Mo
Over 30 TV camera crews, newspaper photographers and reporters were there to capture the splashes at the end, as was Heart's SloMo camera at the bottom of the slide.
