Heart Heroes Awards for Cambridge

It's time to recognise just what great work is going on right on your doorstep.

The Heart Heroes Awards are looking for your nominations to help search for the heroes who make a difference.

The Finalists were invited to an awards ceremony at the Holiday Inn, Impington on Sunday 10th October, where there was a drinks reception followed by a sit down Sunday lunch, and the awards themselves.

Here are just a few comments about the day..

"It was wonderful to be surrounded by true heroes who make such a difference to the people and communities that they help and to see them applauded for that..."

" It’s very heartening to be reminded that some straightforward and unassuming people you pass in the street every day do such fantastic things to help others and make our community a better place."
