Monday 7th, NCS Charity Awareness Event for the Rainbow Trust in Peterborough City Centre. 9am until 4.30pm. Come and meet the team and buy a balloon to write a personal message on for someone close to you that you have lost. These balloons will be released on Thursday 10th at Travelex in Thorpewood. The Rainbow Trust is a charity which helps children who are terminally ill and are less fortunate. The organisers aim is to raise £1,600 which helps one family for a whole year. Tuesday 8th, NCS Charity Awareness Event for the Rainbow Trust at Ferry Meadows. 10am until 5pm. Tuesday is "Rainbow Relay" where different modes of transport will be making their way around a specific route in Ferry Meadows. Space hoppers (10am-12pm), roller skates (1pm-2pm), walking (2pm-3pm) and scooters (3pm-4pm). This event is for the public to join in but everyone looking to take part will have to provide their own mode of transport. For more information about the event click here .

Wednesday 9th, NCS Charity Awareness Event for the Rainbow Trust. This is the third day of the NCS social action project and will see the team head to London where we they will be caring out a bike vs underground race.  The Underground team will be stopping at Stratford, Miles End, Liverpool Street, Bank and Bond Street to fundraise whilst the biking team will be fundraising in Richmond park whilst collectively carrying out a 10km bike ride. Friday 4th and Saturday 5th, Generation Zero, new play by Lamphouse Theatre at the Planet B Festival in Peterborough. Starring four stars from the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016. For more information contact rebeccaowenfisher@gmail.com

Saturday 5th, Goldhay Arts Summer Ball 2017 at the Deafblind UK Centre in Hampton, PE7 8FD. 6.30pm until 11pm. Enjoy a brilliant evening with a 3 course meal, raffle and disco! Saturday 5th, Pamper Event at Loxley Community Centre, Werrington, PE45BW . 7pm until 9pm. Come along for a great Saturday night out and help raise money for Little Miracles. Tickets are £2 in advance, £3 on the door. For more information click here .

Saturday 12th, Charity Fun Day and Rugby Match at March Bears Rugby Club. 12pm until 11pm. Enjoy a family day out for people of all ages. The rugby match is March Bears vs Scotty's Team who are coming from all over the country to play. The match kicks off at 2.30pm. The day is all for the charity Scotty's Little Soldiers. Sunday 13th, Photography In Focus' Photography Day at Thorpe Hall. 10.30am until 4.30pm. This exciting event will bring together models, dancers, exhibitions, stalls, presentations, guest speakers and much more giving everyone interested in photography something to photograph and maybe even learn! Thursday 17th, Search For A Star at Cambridge Leisure. 11am until 4pm. The hunt is on to find the next singing sensation in Cambridgeshire. Know someone or perhaps you see yourself as a undiscovered singing sensation? The come along to Cambridge Leisure for the chance to win some great prizes. Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd, 24 Hour Sleep Out in Hinchingbrooke Park Huntingdon. Starting at 12pm. Sunday 27th, 26th Annual Air and Car show at Little Gransden. Enjoy a brilliant day out and take a look at over 250 vintage veteran vehicles, including Lancaster, Blenheim, Beech 18 and many other flying items. There will also be a craft fair amongst other activities at this great family day out. Click here to find out more.

Sunday 27th, The Water Newton Music Fest 2017. 12pm until 7.30pm. Join in the fun at this charity event by the River Nene with some of the best local music acts from Peterborough and the surrounding area. Line-up includes: ‘Pennyless’, ‘Latino Sound’, ‘Wansford Ukulele Folk’, ‘The Gangsters’, and ‘Beachy Head Diving Club’. Great food will be available throughout the afternoon including Street Food, Wood Fired Pizzas, Burgers and cakes. The fully licensed bar will be serving ales from Castor Brewery. Wines by the glass and bottle, and a fizz and bubbles will also be available. Entrance: £10 with under 12's admitted free. Parking is free. Sunday 27th, Fundraiser at The Three Horseshoes Stapleford. If you like cars, hot rods and motorbikes then this is the event for you. The event is being held in aid of a local medic who has suffered a brain injury. There is also a mini beer festival to enjoy too. Come along and give generously to support Louise. Sunday 27th, Medieval Fair at the Fen Ditton Recreation Ground. 12pm until 5pm. Enjoy a great family fay out at the events 800th anniversary. There will be a viking village, falconry displays, medieval & modern dancers and singers. Don't miss the Princes, Princesses & Dragons Fancy Dress Parade at 1.45pm. Don't miss a history treasure trail, bouncy castle and riverboat trips. There will be also be an ale tent, tea & cakes, hog roast, arts & crafts and handmade produce stalls. Free Entry. Monday 28th, Fenstantion Football Club Car Boot Sale. 9am until 1pm. Pick up a bargain over the bank holiday weekend. Free parking available on site. Sellers to arrive before 9am.
