Christmas shopping and New Year's preparation, the holiday season is upon us.

Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th, West Woulton Players Presents Mother Goose the Pantomim. Prices are £3.50 for adults and £2 for children. There is also an Adult Panto on Saturday 10th at 7pm, tickets £6. For ticket sales call 01945 466570.

Saturday 3rd, Handmade For You Artisan Craft Fayre. 10am until 3pm at the Peterborough Garden Park. A fun family day filled with a selection of artisan stalls including wood turned items, buttons pictures and keepsakes, fabric bags, cushions along with handcrafted jewellery, hand stitched cards and delicious food. The perfect chance for you to treat yourself.

Saturday 3rd, Bar Hill Community Christmas Market. 10.30 until 2pm in the Octagon. The entry is free and all profits go to community projects.

Saturday 3rd, Bar Hill Christmas Fayre. 2.30pm until 4.30pm at Bar Hill School, there will be the chance to meet Santa, eat some goodies and buy hand crafted gifts. 

Saturday 3rd, Festive Fayre. 2pm until 4pm. Santa’s Grotto will be open along with there being a Hamper Raffle, Sleigh of Booze, local Crafts, homemade Cakes and some festive games including: Find the Reindeer and Children's Christmas Bake Off.

Saturday 3rd, Crowland Christmas lights. 5pm at North Street, Crowland. The Mayor of Peterborough will be assited by the Crowland's Young Achievers Winners to switch on the Christmas lights. Santa will be in his grotto for children to meet, there will be a funfair, stalls and food.

Until Saturday 3rd, The Salvation Army's Charity Christmas Tree Festival. 11am until 6pm on Bourges Boulevard in Peterborough. Free admission with light Refreshments available. See the Christmas Trees, donate to the Charity's taking part and vote for your Favourite Tree! More here.

Sunday 4th, The Academy of Great St. Mary's Christmas Concert. 7.30 pm at Great St. Mary’s Cambridge.Tickets £7-£16 get more information here 

Sunday 4th, The First King of England... in a dress! England's 1,000th birthday is being celebrated in an exciting new stage production which will premiere at The Guildhall in Cambridge. 

Sunday 4th, Santa's Grotto. 10am until 12 at Walton scouts hut on Mountsteven ave. Write your letter with the help of his elves then post it direct to the north pole via our post box. Receive a free gift to take home all for only £4.00 per child. All the money raised will be used for a better community. 

Friday 9th, Whittlesey Christmas Extravaganza. 5pm until 8pm on the Market Square. Christmas fun for all the family, with balloon modelling, face painting, a fair and a visit from Santa. Local shops will be staying open later.

Saturday 10th, Krispy Kreme Charity Fundraiser. 10am until 4pm raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Santa will be popping by around 12pm and there will also be games, tombola and face painting throughout the day. There will also be a raffle with prizes including; vouchers for Toby Carvery, Planet Ice, Nail Envy, Hair Obsession, Grimsthorpe Park & Gardens, Big Sky Play centre, Jamie Fitzjohn PT and an Oakham ales gift pack plus more!

Sunday 18th, The Ultimate British Wrestling Santa Spectacular. 2.30pm until 5.30pm at the Littleport Leisure Centre. Tickets are £5 per person and under 3’s go free. More information here

Sunday 18th, Christmas Magic at Peterborough's Broadway Theatre. 3pm until 7.30pm
Peterborough's biggest celebration with the city's award winning choirs Peterborough Male Voice Choir, Peterborough Voices and Peterborough Youth Choir, featuring all your festive favourites including Santa Baby, O Holy Night, White Christmas and many more.
