Saturday 11th, Whittlesey Bowls Club Opening Day. 2pm until 4.30pm. To celebrate their new Community Sports Hub, sponsored by Lottery funding, McCain and The Amey Community fund, join Whittlesey Bowls Club for a fantastic day all the family can get involved with. Saturday 11th until Friday 17th, All Saints Church 800th Anniversary. 9:30am until 4pm. Come along and enjoy displays, exhibitions and artefacts of 800 years of history of the community and parish. Free entry.

Saturday 15th, The Romsey Mill Quiz Night at the Guildhall. 7.30pm. Chosen as the Mayor’s local charity 2017, Romsey Mill has been offered the use of the fabulous Guildhall to host the Romsey Mill Quiz Night. There will be live music provided by local Jazz/R&B band Deep Blue on a great night that will have something for everyone. Quiz team size 6-8. No dress code. Bar available. Romsey Mill is a local charity helping some of the most disadvantaged young people and young families in the Cambridge area. Saturday 25th, Jumble Sale at Oakington Primary School. 12pm until 2pm. Come and grab a bargain! Children's and adult clothes, shoes, bed linen, bags, curtains, toys, bric-a-brac, books & household goods. £1 entry adult, children free.

Saturday 25th, The Academy of Great St. Mary's presents Beethoven:  Symphony No. 6 ‘The Pastoral’. 7.30pm. Sibelius: Finlandia, Brahms: Hungarian Dances, Conductor Adam Pounds. Tickets £7 - £16.

Tuesday 28th, Pancakes Race at Peterborough Cathedral. 1pm. Take part in a fun-run style Pancake Race around the Precincts, and help to raise some funds for the Cathedral. Pancakes for the race will be provided free of charge by event caterers, The Fenland Roaster, and the Cathedral will invite donations from those who take part. Freshly made pancakes will also be on sale, making this a great way to spend a lunch hour for spectators too. Find out more and sign up here.
