Saturday 11th, Annual Pet Cat Show/Homing Day at Little Downham Village Hall, CB6 2ST. 11am until 3.30pm. Delicious cakes on off as well as stalls and tombola. There will be a Cat Photo show on the which, will also be judged. Entry to the event includes a voting slip for your favourite photo. For more information contact 

Sunday 12th, Charity indoor car boot sale at the Eastrea Center. 10am until 2pm. Head down to see what treasures you can find and raise money for the charity No Pain, No Gain . For more information contact Lee via email on

Thursday 16th, Recruit 2017 - 'Peterborough's favourite jobs fair' at Peterborough Town Hall. 10.30am until 2.30pm. Come and meet over 30 local employers, all looking to recruit people like you. So dress to impress and bring your CV and you could find your perfect job. Run by TWIP and sponsored by the DWP and Cross Keys Homes.

Thursday 16th and Friday 17th, Fame the Musical by Inspirational Productions at Stamford Corn Exchange. 7.30pm. See a brilliant performance of this classic by Eastern School of Performing Arts from Stamford. For tickets, please contact 01780 766455 or visit the website.

Friday 17th and Saturday 18th, THIRSTYFEST at Mackays on East Road, Cambridge. 6pm until 11pm. Celebrate St Patrick's Day with an Irish themed food and drink festival in Mackay's car park. Fabulous Food Vans from all around the globe will be irishifying their food for the night. There will also be a fabulous fireworks display (with as many Green effects as possible) fired from the roof of Mackays shop! For more information call 01223 517000.

Friday 17th, St Patrick's Day Charity Race Night at Lakeside Lodge in Pidley. 7pm start. Enjoy a brilliant night in aid of Pidley Mountain Rescue. In this event, YOU are the jockey winding up the wooden horse's string, the winner is the horse that arrives under the winning post first! £10 a ticket, which includes a buffet. Saturday 25th, Fun Pottery Evening at Glazed Creations in Royston. 7pm until 10pm. Come along and help raise money for the Beads of Courage Programme at Addenbrookes in memory of a very special girl, Eilish. £7 painters fee, plus cost of items you paint & any donation for what you feel your evening is worth. Saturday 25th, Masters Young & Old at Stamford Arts Centre. 7.30pm. Enjoy a classical evening with The Stamford Chamber Orchestra. The lively programme features 18 year old pianist Julian Trevelyan, twice a BBC Young Musician finalist, playing Beethoven’s first and most playful concerto, which was written as a brilliant showpiece for the young Beethoven himself. The gentle heart of the concert is Wagner’s exquisite tone poem named after his first child, and the programme ends with Prokoviev’s youthfully witty and tuneful first symphony.

Friday 31st, Wine Tasting Evening at The Cresset Theatre. 7pm until 9pm. Head to The Cresset this month for a social evening tasting up to 15 bottles of quality wine courtesy of Amps Wine Merchants. You'll even get to enjoy a complementary glass of wine on arrival. The event is being held to raise money to support Goldyhay Arts , a charity which has supported adults with learning disabilities for over 22 years. Tickets start from £5. Click here to buy.
