The children are back to school, and Autumn is on its way, but let's get out and enjoy the Autumn sunshine.

Sunday 4th, Charity Family Fun Day in St Neots, PE19 2SF. 10am until 2pm. Get ready to join in heaps of fun at the Eynesbury Rovers Football Club on Hall Road, with the 2nd St Neots Scout Group! With a bouncy castle, tug of war and carnival games as well as a tasty BBQ to keep you going, it's the perfect day out for all the family. Huge prizes from Cambridge Utd tickets to MOTs on offer, you can't miss out! All proceeds going towards Bella's Wish charity.

Saturday 10th, Mind, Body, Soul event at the Cambridge Motel in Shepreth. 10.30am until 4.40pm. Come along and enjoy a fun day out for the whole family. There will be stalls, readers, healing, mini workshops/talks, tombola and light refreshments. The entrance fee is £3.00 for adults with children getting in for free. Sunday 11th, Elton Boat Club's Annual Open Day at Warmington Mill. Come and enjoy a great day out with the family with plenty of fun activities on offer. There will be boat rides, stalls, games, tombola, the resident band, food and dancing.  There will even be a fly past by a Lancaster from the Battle of Britain Flight.  Some of the money raised will go to a good causes. Sunday 11th, Autocross at Riverside Farm. The last ever Autograss event at Wyboston, which has been the home track of St Neots for the past 30 years.

Friday 16th, Fun with Glass Fusing Workshops at Glazed Creations, 3 Baldock Street, Royston SG8 5AY. 7pm until 9.30pm. Enjoy an evening doing something different for just £30, which includes admission and all materials. For more information send an email to for a booking form.

Saturday 17th, Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band Concert at Neale Wade School. 7pm. March's local brass band are celebrating 125 years with a special concert. Tickets available from Co-operative Travel in March. Come and show your support to help keep up the tradition of having a brass band in March! Contact for more information.

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th, Festival of Quilt & Patchwork. 11am until 5pm and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday. Holy Trinity Church in Haddenham is hosting a weekend of demonstrations, quilters workshops and handicraft stalls along. All the money raised will go to the Holy Trinity Church.

Saturday 17th September, Handmade For You Artisan Craft Fayre. 10am-3pm at the Peterborough Garden Park. A fun family day filled with a selection of artisan stalls including wood turned items, buttons pictures and keepsakes, fabric bags, cushions along with handcrafted jewellery, hand stitched cards and delicious food. The perfect chance for you to treat yourself.

Friday 23rd, Classical Concert at Jesus College in Cambridge. The event starts at 7pm, tickets are £15 and all money raised will go to Home Start Cambridge. For more information contact

Saturday 24th, Fowlmere Playgroup Thrift Sale. 9.30am-11am at Fowlmere Village Hall, there will be children's clothes, equipment, toys and books on sale and admission is £2 per person.

Saturday 24th, Reach Festival in the village centre, church and Dyke's End Pub. 10.30am until 4.30pm. Reach Festival will be a family friendly event showcasing the very best local talents and produce. Come along, Its completely free! Saturday 24th, Yogathon at Cambridge YMCA. 8am-6pm. An entire day of yoga classes is taking place to raise money for Save The Children's Child Refugee Crisis Appeal. Tickets are a recommended donation of £20 for the full day or £5 per class.
