£5,000 Statue Stolen

3 September 2010, 06:00

Police are trying to track down a statue worth £5,250 that was stolen from an art gallery in Cambridge.

It's hoped someone will recognise the "distinctive copper wire statue of a woman wearing a swimsuit". [Pictured - right]

We haven't been told which gallery it was stolen from on August the 26th though.

PC Daniel Bramley, investigating, said: "The sculpture is very distinctive and I would appeal to anyone who has been offered it, or who has information about its whereabouts, to contact police."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cambridgeshire Police on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
