A14: Man Killed In Crash

A man has been arrested after a man was killed in a crash on the A14 in Cambridgeshire.

A lorry and a motorcycle collided on the A14 eastbound at junction 28 for Cambridge Services and Boxworth at around 12:35pm today (Monday).

The rider of the bike, believed to be in his 30s, died following the crash.

A 50 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is being questioned at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge.

The A14 eastbound was closed between Godmanchester and Swavesey following the crash for accident investigation work, and a diversion was set up.

There were also delays following a number of other crashes on the A14 today.

There were two separate crashes at the Spittals Interchange, and a crash at the junction with the M11 at Girton.
