A man has been given 'strong words of advice' by Cambridgeshire Police, after being spotted driving a mobility scooter along the A14.

Officers were called after concerned drivers saw the mobility scooter driving along the carriageway at around 11am today (Wednesday).

He was pulled over by officers close to the exit with Bar Hill.

The force says the man was given 'strong words of advice' about the dangers of driving his mobility scooter along the A14, which is a road with a speed limit of 70 miles per hour.

Nobody was hurt.
