Appeal After Taxi Robbery

Police have released CCTV images of a two men they want to speak to after a taxi driver is threatened with a gun in Peterborough.

It happened at around 11pm on Monday September 27th in Cubitt Way, off Oundle Road.

Two men flagged a taxi down outside Cambridge Railway Station and asked the driver to take them to Peterborough.

When they reached Peterborough, they didn't pay and threatened the driver with a gun.

The men also took the driver's watch and jewellery.

DC Andy Stroud, who is investigating, said: "I am appealing for anyone with information about who may have committed this crime to come forward.

I would particularly like to hear from the men pictured or anyone who thinks they recognise them."
