Arrest After A14 Crash

A lorry driver has been arrested following a crash between two lorries on the A14 in Cambridgeshire.

The crash happened at 5:45am today (Wednesday) on the east-bound carriageway near the junction for Bar Hill.

One lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The other has been injured and taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Police say his injuries are not believed to be serious.

The accident damaged the road surface and diesel was spilled across the carriageway, and caused long delays on the A14, M11 and A428.

The latest crash is the fourth accident on the A14 in Cambridgeshire since Friday.
