Arrest Following Suspicious Package
A 27 year old man has been arrested following the discovery of a suspicious device in Cambridge.
An RAF Bomb Disposal Team was called to East Road just after 1:15pm yesterday (Monday).
A suspicious package was discovered in a nearby building.
Buildings including part of Anglia Ruskin University were evacuated and a cordon was placed around the scene.
East Road near Parkside was closed for around four hours while the Bomb Disposal Team investigated, causing delays in Cambridge city centre.
The 27 year old man who was arrested is being held by police and investigations are continuing.
