£25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for an armed robbery in Bar Hill.

Three men wearing balaclavas and carrying weapons entered the Post Office and Library in Gladeside at about 5.15pm on Monday 5th December.

The Post Office security team are offering a reward of up to £25,000.

The masked men threatened a librarian before stealing a large amount of money.

All three men were dressed in dark clothing and yellow gloves, two wearing black balaclavas, the third wearing a grey balaclava.

Detective Sergeant Russ Toovey, investigating, said: "I hope this reward will motivate someone with information about the armed robbery to contact us."

"We are carrying out further enquiries with witnesses and awaiting forensic results but any information, no matter how small, could help us with our investigation.”

Anyone with information should call DS Toovey at Histon Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

The payment of the reward is subject to information being received before 19th June 2012 and the validity of any claim will be determined by Post Office Security in conjunction with police.
