Cambridge Bottle Attack

Police have released CCTV images [pictured - right & below] of a man they want to speak to in connection with an attack in Cambridge.

It's after a 19 year old man was hit around the head with a bottle following an argument in Market Hill at around 1:30am on the 20th July.

The victim was seriously hurt and taken to hospital, while the attacker ran away after the incident.

PC Stephanie Calne, investigating, said: "This was a nasty attack which left the victim with serious head injuries.

The area where the assault happened was very busy and I'm sure many people would have witnessed the incident.

We are keen to speak to the man pictured as we believe he might have valuable information which could assist the investigation.
