Cambridge: Convicted Burglar Wanted

1 December 2011, 06:00

Police are looking for a convicted burglar who was released from prison early but has not appeared in court to answer a traffic offence.

22 year old Jason Turner [pictured - right] from Whitehall Road in Cambridge, was due at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on the 4th November.

Since then, he also has failed to answer police bail after being arrested on suspicion of burglary and drugs offences.

Turner was jailed for four years in March 2009 for committing multiple burglaries and had been released on licence.

Members of the public are urged not to approach him but to report any sightings to police.

He is 5'6", stocky and sometimes uses a motorcycle or moped.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Ellie Mansfield on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
