Cambridge University students are hoping a video of them dancing to 'Shake It Off' by Taylor Swift will catch the singer's attention, and convince her to come and perform at one of Trinity College's biggest events: the May Ball.

They've started a social media campaign using the hashtag #TaylorAtTrinity in an attempt to get their favourite popstar to come to Cambridge next year.

It's been orchestrated by undergraduate Harriet Gordon, and features students busting their moves to Taylor's latest hit at some of the most iconic spots on campus.

So far, it's had almost 10,000 views on YouTube.
