Lincolnshire: New Acting Police Chief

Lincolnshire Police's new Acting Chief Constable says he's going to do his best to lead the force forward.

It comes after Neil Rhodes, who was Chief Constable, was made to step down last week.

Alec Wood, who was Deputy Chief Constable, has taken over the role for now.

The new man in charge says it's "highly unusual for a chief to be suspended", and says he doesn't yet know why it happened.
