95 people have been arrested for drink-driving in Cambridgeshire since the start of December.

It's part of a big police operation to catch motorists who drink alcohol and then drive in the run up to Christmas.

Last Friday alone, police stopped and breath-tested more than 300 drivers as part of the campaign.

PC Tony Barrios, casualty reduction officer, said: "We are stopping and breathalysing more motorists than ever before as part of our campaign and it is inevitable that we will see an increase in the number of arrests.

It is always disappointing to find there are still motorists out there who think it is acceptable to drive while under the influence."
