It includes information about the events 'new look' and a leaflet which will be handed out to local people in the city centre next week.

Chief Inspector Dave Sargent said: "The event this year has a real family focus and we have been working closely with the Strawberry Fair Committee and Cambridge City Council.

"Our planning has looked at the best way to tackle past issues in order to support the fair organisers' and minimise disruption to residents."

Justin Argent said: "We have worked hard this year with the police and city council to ensure everyone has a great time.

"The fair is going to have lots of activities and we hope all those planning to attend will enjoy the fair."
