'My Week With Marilyn', which was partly shot at Cambridgeshire's Duxford Imperial War Museum, is now being shown in cinemas.

Michelle Williams [pictured - right] plays Marilyn Monroe in the film about a week the iconic actress spent in the UK in 1956.

The sequences filmed at Duxford show Monroe arriving in the UK on a plane and attending a press conference after disembarking the flight.

The aircraft used was the Monarch owned by the Duxford Aviation Society, which is on permanent display at the museum.

The film also stars Dougray Scott, Kenneth Branagh, Dame Judi Dench, Zoe Wanamaker and Emma Watson.

A spokesperson for Duxford told Heart the stars were 'great fun and lovely to deal with'.
