Hauxton Clean Up Latest

More than 100 people, concerned about the clean-up of a a former chemical site in Hauxton, have written to South Cambridgeshire District Council.

Some people are worried about smells coming from the former Bayer Crop Science site, and about potential health risks.

South Cambridgeshire District Council has now posted answers to some of the most frequently asked questions on their website - click here to view them.

SCDC Executive Director Steve Hampson said: "The website is a one stop shop for all information about the clean up and redevelopment of the site.

By collating all the questions that local people have been asking over the past few months, and putting the answers online, we hope that more people can find what they need to know quickly.

In answering the questions, all the agencies’ experts have been consulted to ensure the information given is accurate and up-to-date."
