Haverhill: Arrests After School Fire

Two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a former school in Haverhill was destroyed in a fire.

Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at the former Castle Hill Middle School in School Lane, Haverhill, at around 10pm on the 3rd June.

The derelict school was destroyed in the fire.

Two boys from the Haverhill area, aged 17 and 14, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and have been released on bail while police make further inquiries.

The boys are due to report back to police in August.
