Haverhill: Car Windows Smashed

Police in Haverhill are investigating after car windows have been smashed in the town - including one with a lump of concrete.

The first incident occurred between 7.30pm Sunday 27 October and 6.30am Monday 28 October in Cambridge Way. A blue Vauxhall Tigra parked in the street had a side window smashed and a handbag was stolen from inside.

The second crime took place between 2pm Monday 28 October and 8am Tuesday 29 October in Chauntry Road. A lump of concrete was thrown through a side window of a grey Vauxhall Astra parked in the street and the glovebox was then searched, but no items were stolen.

Police in Haverhill have told Heart that if anyone has information about these incidents they should contact PC Rupert Beynon at Haverhill Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
