Cambridgeshire Police have released CCTV pictures of three people they want to trace after a brand new car was stolen from a garage in Huntingdon.

The red Vauxhall Corsa was stolen from the Murketts forecourt in Stukeley Road, Huntingdon, at around 1pm on Sunday 22nd April.

Police have previously stated they believe a man and a young woman inquired about the car on the afternoon of Thursday 19th April, and managed to take the ignition key and swap it with a dummy key.

Then, according to Police, a woman entered the showroom on the following Sunday and distracted the receptionist by asking about some leaflets while a man got into the Corsa and drove away.

Detective Constable James Bowen, who is investigating the theft, said: "I would urge anyone who recognises these people [pictured - above and below] to call police as we believe they could have important information which could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Bowen on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
