Man Robbed At Knifepoint In Huntingdon

Police are looking for two people who threatened a man with a knife in Huntingdon last week.

It happened in Thongsley at 4:15pm on Thursday.

The victim, a 48 year old man from Peterborough, was sat in his car.

A man walked up to the car, held a knife to the man inside and demanded his mobile phone and money.

A second man then opened the passenger door and stole a folder with money inside.

Both men then ran away, and Police believe they may have escaped in a silver estate car.

Detective Sergeant Claire Hewson, who is investigating, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in the Thongsley area and may have seen this incident or the two men."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DS Hewson at Huntingdon Police Station on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
