Newmarket: sex assault

Police investigating an allegation of sexual assault in Newmarket have released CCTV images of a man they would like to contact in relation to the incident.

Police got a report from a 21-year-old woman that an incident happened in a car park in Queensbury Road between 2:30am and 4:15am on Sunday 8th of January.

The woman had been out with friends in the town when she went to get belongings from her car in the car park. She told Police that a man had walked with her and when the pair reached the vehicle she was attacked.

Two CCTV images are now being released of a man police believe may be able to help with their enquiries. Both were taken in De Neros nightclub where the victim had been during the evening.
