Three Charged After Cambridge Disorder

Three people have been charged following a disturbance in Cambridge during riots across the country last month.

A 20 year old man, and two boys, aged 18 and 16, were among 16 people arrested in Cambridge on the 9th August.

The 20 year old has also been charged with possessing cannabis.

The 16 year old is also accused of assaulting a police officer.

The three people have been released on bail and will appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on the 7th October.

No further action is being taken against the remaining 13 people who were arrested at the time.
