Women Attacked In Cambridge

A woman has been grabbed and punched by a man while in the garden of her home in Cambridge.

Police say the attack happened last Friday (10th June) in Blinco Grove and have just told us about it.

The attacker, described as a man, about 25 years old, 5'10" tall, of medium build and tanned, was wearing a khaki jumper and carrying a rucksack.

The man is said to have run off towards Cherry Hinton Road following the attack.

Detective Sergeant Lindsay Harbour said: "This was an upsetting incident for the victim.

I would appeal to anyone who recognises the description to call police."

The incident is not being linked to any other offences.
