Rock, Shop and Recover on Heart Cambridgeshire, October 2014

RULES

1.         The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/ apply to the Rock, Shop and Recover radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 27/10/14 to 31/10/14 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart Cambridgeshire.

2.         Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:

3.         To enter the Competition an Entrant must:

Send a text message with the word Kylie to 82122 (the “Text Message Line”). Messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

All entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded or broadcast live with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random.

4.         Entrants need to listen out for a cue to text in. Eligible Entrants will be selected at random from the texts received. Two contestants will play each day (on day one, these will be two Entrants playing for the first time. For the other days of the competition, the previous day’s winner will be asked to play again against a new, randomly-selected Entrant). Each round’s contestants will be asked a question each. If both contestants answer their questions correctly, or both contestants answer their questions incorrectly, a tiebreaker question will be asked, and the contestant who gives the closest answer to the tiebreaker will be declared that day’s winner. If one of the contestants answers their question incorrectly, the contestant answering the question correctly will be declared that day’s winner. Each day’s winner will be required to play the following day, in order to ‘defend’ their prize. If the previous day’s contestant is unreachable during the time of the contest (between 7am and 9am), they will forfeit their prize, and two new Entrants will be selected at random to play.

5.         The winner of the final round on Friday 31st October will be declared the overall winner and will win the prize as described in clause 8.

Eligibility:

6.         All entrants must be 18 or over. Because the prize includes overseas travel, the winner and their guest must have valid passports without restriction on travel to Ireland.

7.         Entrants Must be available to be attend the concert in Dublin on November 8th 2014.

8.         Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.

Prize:

9.         The prize is as follows:

•          Two tickets to the Kylie Minogue concert at the 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday 08/11/14 in the “Gold Circle” area of the stadium. Because of the nature of the event, it is not recommended to take young children. Admission is subject to the terms and conditions of the venue and/or promoter. Please note, cameras and video recording devices are prohibited.

•          Three nights’ accommodation in a hotel (minimum of three stars) in the Dublin area, checking in on 07/11/14, checking out on 10/11/14, on a bed and breakfast only basis. The winner will be asked for their credit card on arrival to cover any additional costs incurred while staying at the hotel. No other meals are provided. Details of the hotel and check in/check out times will be confirmed to the winner.

•          Spa/massage treatments at the hotel, to the value of £200.

•          £250 cheque.

•          Return transport from a UK Airport to Dublin, in standard class.

Prizes will be delivered within 28 days of winning.

The prize must be taken during the dates listed in clause 8. The concert tickets, hotel, spa experience and travel cannot be used any other time.

Exclusions:

•          No insurance is provided. It is highly recommended that winners arrange their own insurance.

•          No transfers are provided. The winner will need to make their own way to and from the relevant airports stations, and to their hotel. The winner will also need to make his or her own arrangements to get to the concert venue.

•          No excursions or additional entertainment is provided.

The prize is strictly non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
