Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May  Help for Heroes are having a fund raising weekend at ASDA in Cambridge. We will be selling Help for Heroes merchandise and having a collection. You cant miss us all our volunteers will be dressed in Red, White and Blue.

Saturday 12th May - Pop Around Peterborough in aid of Arthritis Research UK - 1pm - Peterborough Greyhound Stadium  Entry Fee £5.00 - It’s a 5 mile sponsored charity walk where prizes can be won. Each walker will be given an Arthritis Research UK balloon. Once you’ve reached the finish line, simply pop your balloon and find out if you’ve won a prize. Prizes include a night at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium for you and your friends (worth £600), a book signed by the author (and actor) Warwick Davis, a signed POSH shirt, family days out and much more...

Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May -10am - 5pm - Bassingbourn Barracks Airfield, SG8 5LX
The event is a World War II 1940's war-time themed event and musical extravaganza.
There will be all day music from prominent aritst's of the genre, a 17pc big band,  highland pipes and drums (Sunday only), 40+ military and civilian vehicles from the era, living history groups displaying war-time scenes, the Home Guard, trade stalls, a bar and food.  
The aim of this event is to launch the fundraising appeal by the Control Tower Museum Bassingbourn (www.towermuseumbassingbourn) to raise the £250,000.00 needed to restore and preserve the Tower Museum.  
The Tower Museum is a memorial museum, to all those service men and woman who served at the base, with the RAF and the United States Army Air Force during WWII.

Sunday 13th May - Fiesta in the Park 2012 - Huntingdon Racecourse

The Fiesta Club of Great Britain (FCGB) are pleased to announce that the 14th Fiesta In The Park will take place at Huntingdon Racecourse on 13th May 2012. The show will retain it's focus on Ford's original super mini, but as usual welcome clubs from accross the Ford range old and new. there were over 1400 vehicles on display at last years show.

Wednesday 16th May - Saturday 19th May - Murder Mystery - Waterbeach Primary School -  Waterbeach Community Players are performing their next production, Summer End. Its a murder mystery set in an old people's home, a warm and witty comedy by Eric Chappell (writer of Rising Damp).
