The North Pole Cambridge Christmas Festival returns from Friday 18th November and runs until early January.

It features a 600m ice rink, the Alpine Cabin Bar, plenty of festive food offerings and much more...

It's the perfect way to get into the spirit of Christmas throughout the festive season right in the heart of Cambridge.

The Heart Ice Rink

Get your skates on this winter and enjoy one of the UK’s most stylish open-air ice rinks. Nestled amongst the trees in Parker's Piece, there's plenty of space to skate and enjoy the simply stunning parkland views on the 600m open air ice rink. Winter revellers can enjoy a traditional skating experience in a truly beautiful setting.

Undercover Alpine Cabin Bar

Back again by popular demand - the Alpine Cabin Bar will be open daily, serving mulled wine and seasonal drinks that you can enjoy in the cosy undercover Alpine style wooden lodge. At the weekend the bar will be home to live music and an open mic segment. Calling all would-be musicians!

Festive food

Throughout the skating season, The North Pole will be bringing you a mouth-watering array of festive food to enjoy: Authentic German Swing Grill, traditional German sausage and bratwurst, speciality beef burgers and hot chips. Enjoy festive turkey & chicken stuffing rolls, crepes, donuts, hot chocolate & marshmallows, mulled wine, hot cider and festive cocktails.

Festive fairground rides

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit to a traditional fair, from carousels to slides and dodgem cars; this festival staple is one not to be missed. Come down and enjoy: Bungee, Penguin Boats, Santa’s Toys, Plans, Avalanche, Helter Skelter, Santa’s Slay, Snow Storm, Carousel, Polar Express, Dodgems, Slide, Star Flyer, Ferris Wheel and Formula ONE.
